How to create a useful house-for-sale listing
A good listing answers the buyer’s first questions before they need to message you. Accuracy matters more than exaggerated claims.
Prepare the facts first
Confirm the property type, size, rooms, condition, utilities, parking, street access, asking price and availability. Use “unknown” only when you genuinely cannot confirm something.
Describe what a buyer cannot see
Explain the layout, recent work, practical advantages and any important limitation. Do not hide defects or place phone numbers and links in the description.
Pin and review before publishing
Place the map pin accurately, check every photo and field, then preview the public listing. Correct mistakes quickly if the property changes.
